We have an exciting learning opportunity in development for next year in the Metrowest Boston community. Hebrew College, CJP, Temple Beth Sholom and Metrowest Day School are partnering to offer a Me’ah Classic class on Thursday nights at Temple Beth Sholom, beginning October 11, 2018.
Me’ah Classic is Boston’s celebrated adult Jewish learning program which covers the span of Jewish literature and history from Biblical times, through the age of the Rabbis, through Medieval to Modern times. It is an intellectual tour de force that makes sophisticated and deep Jewish study accessible to the adult learner and endows its graduates with a thorough Jewish literacy. It is 20 sessions per year over the course of two years led by some of Boston’s best Jewish studies instructors. Click here for more information about the Me’ah Classic curriculum.
We have offered Me’ah in Metrowest Boston four times in the past and we are excited to support this effort for this fall-there are also other classes which will begin this fall, should this day and time not work for you, click here for other sites and locations for this fall. There is financial aid available for classes, please contact Sara Brown, Director of Me’ah programs for more details.
