The Sisterhood of Temple Beth Am is a diverse and dynamic group of Reform women of all ages, occupations, goals, and interests who coordinate and participate in a variety of programs designed with multiple interests in mind.

Our mission statement includes our three motivating tenets: Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), Brit Olam (sustaining Jewish continuity) and Kehillah (building community).  Our programs include a variety of social, educational, religious, temple and community-based events all relative to these three principles.

Sisterhood 2019 Honors Dinner

On June 4th, Sisterhood held its annual Honors Dinner at Longfellow’s Wayside Inn in Sudbury.  It was well attended and enjoyed by over 30 Sisterhood members.

The food was wonderful and the atmosphere so lovely and historic.  Honored guests were Rabbi Sobel who gave the Invocation, and Rabbi Splansky who asked the Benediction.

The guest speaker was Amy Davis, daughter of Eileen and Rick Davis.  Eileen, a temple member, started an organization named Call2talk, which is a mental health, emotional support, and suicide prevention program.  Although Eileen was unable to attend due to a business trip, her daughter Amy spoke to the group about the wonderful services the organization provides to help people in need.

The sisterhood contributed close to $600 to this non-profit organization that does so much good in the community.
